Obverse description The Cuban national coat of arms occupies the central field, flanked by a curved legend reading REPUBLICA DE CUBA along the upper periphery and the denomination VEINTE CENTAVOS as a curved legend along the lower periphery. A row of denticles runs close to the inner edge of the rim, framing the design. This obverse trial piece was produced to test the die design and strike quality prior to any intended circulation issue.
