| Obverse description | Black letterpress on white paper with a fine ornamental border. The upper portion carries the inscription "LA TESORERIA GENERAL DEL ESTADO DE COLIMA" in bold capitals, flanked by numerals "20" in circular cartouches at each corner. A large guilloche vignette at centre displays the denomination numeral "20" in intaglio style, surrounded by radiating lathe-work. The text "PAGARÁ AL PORTADOR CONFORME AL DECRETO DE 4 DE JUNIO DE 1915" appears to the left, with Series A designation to the right, and the date "COLIMA, JUNIO 15 DE 1915" along the lower margin above the word "CENTAVOS". Two manuscript signatures appear below, captioned "EL GOBERNADOR" and "EL SECRETARIO DE GOBIERNO" respectively. |
