背面描述 The reverse is printed in blue and carries a symmetrical arrangement of sixteen circular medallions, each containing the heraldic shield of one of the Argentine provinces, with the province name inscribed beneath each medallion. The word 'CENTAVOS' appears in large bold letters within a central rectangular frame, flanked on all sides by the provincial arms in a grid-like layout. The denomination numeral '20' is repeated in each corner, and a fine guilloche border frames the entire design; the printer's imprint 'American Bank Note Co. New York' appears along the lower margin.

备注

Banco Nacional was Argentina's first true national bank, established in 1872 with a mandate to unify the country's chaotic patchwork of provincial note-issuing authorities. It lasted barely a decade before liquidation in 1883, making its note series collectively short-lived. The 20 Centavos Fuertes denomination is among the smaller fractional pieces from this institution — fractional notes of this type were primarily intended to address the chronic shortage of small-denomination coin in circulation during the period.

ABNC's Buenos Aires-era contracts were substantial, and the PS prefix in the Pick reference indicates this was a private bank issue rather than a government obligation — a distinction that mattered considerably to the public during Argentina's recurring convertibility crises.
