The issuing authority ISSUED BY THE MINDANAO EMERGENCY CURRENCY BOARD PHILIPPINES is printed centrally, beneath which two redemption pledges appear in italic script stating the note is redeemable at face value after the emergency and will not be devalued, followed by a counterfeiting warning in roman type.
