| 备注 |
The Mindanao Emergency Currency Board was one of several provincial bodies authorized to issue guerrilla currency during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines. These notes circulated in contested territory where Japanese military scrip was rejected outright by the local population — acceptance of occupation currency was itself a political act, and many Mindanao communities refused it entirely.
The three-signature format, with a named chairman and two countersigning members, was a deliberate gesture of institutional legitimacy under improvised conditions. Survival rates vary sharply by province; Mindanao issues were subject to destruction orders if guerrilla positions were overrun.
