| Anmerkungen |
The Mindanao Emergency Currency Board was one of several provincial and local bodies that issued guerrilla currency during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines. These notes had no backing beyond the authority of resistance-aligned officials and the confidence of civilians in remote areas still outside firm Japanese control. Mindanao's geography — fragmented, heavily forested, and difficult to occupy uniformly — made such local monetary arrangements viable longer than in Luzon.
Three signatures appear on this note, which was unusual among guerrilla issues and reflects a deliberate effort to project institutional legitimacy under occupation conditions.
