正面描述 Uniface emergency currency certificate executed in black letterpress on plain off-white paper stock. The central field is occupied entirely by the bearer obligation text, with the denomination expressed numerically as "P0.20" at both left and right margins. Three manuscript signatures appear in the lower portion, representing the Provincial Auditor, Provincial Governor, and Acting Provincial Treasurer, accompanied by a handwritten serial number at lower right; a pink ink cancellation stamp is applied diagonally across the face.

备注

Nueva Vizcaya's wartime scrip belongs to the broader Philippine emergency currency effort that followed the Japanese invasion of December 1941. As the Commonwealth government collapsed and regular banking ceased, provincial and municipal authorities across Luzon issued their own notes to keep local commerce moving — Nueva Vizcaya among them. These were instruments of necessity, authorized under conditions where no central printing facility was accessible.

Three signatures appear because the provincial administration required co-authorization across fiscal, executive, and treasury functions — a safeguard against fraud that the circumstances made all the more important. Rodrigo Acosta signed as Acting Treasurer, suggesting the regular office-holder was absent or incapacitated, likely a detail worth noting for provenance research on this specific series.
