正面描述	Purple on multicolour underprint. The Portuguese Coat of Arms appears at right, with the bank seal at bottom centre (Steamship seal Type III). A green or black overprint reading 'S.THOMÉ' or 'S.TOMÉ' respectively is applied at top centre.

背面描述	Printed in dark blue, the reverse centres on an intaglio vignette of a seated allegorical female figure with sailing ships at her side, evoking maritime commerce. Two large guilloche rosettes bearing the denomination '0$10' flank the central vignette at left and right. The bank name is split across ornamental ribbon banners at the upper corners, with the printer's imprint at the foot of the note.
