Descrizione del dritto	The obverse features the national coat of arms of the Dominican Republic at center, depicting an open Bible beneath a cross, flanked by two laurel branches tied at the base and enclosing a ribbon bearing the national motto 'DIOS, PATRIA, LIBERTAD'. The shield is surmounted by a cross and surrounded by a wreath. The circular legend 'REPUBLICA DOMINICANA' arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination inscription '5 GRAMOS' appears in the lower field. A small mintmark 'A' (Paris Mint) is visible near the base of the design.
