Reverse description Central device presents the Chilean national coat of arms: a quartered shield bearing a star and horizontal striping, surmounted by a three-feathered plume crest, and flanked on either side by laurel and other foliate branches tied with a ribbon at the base. The mint mark 'So' appears to the right within the field. The legend REPUBLICA DE CHILE arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin lettering, while the denomination 20 CENTS is inscribed in the lower exergual area. The border is defined by a continuous ring of beading consistent with the obverse.
