备注

The Banco Entre-Riano was a provincial institution operating out of Concepción del Uruguay during a period when Argentine provincial banking was almost entirely unregulated — each province, and sometimes individual cities, issued their own currency with little federal oversight. The 1860s saw dozens of such banks chartered across the littoral provinces, many of them undercapitalized and short-lived.

At 20 centavos, this is the fractional end of the Entre-Riano series, the kind of denomination that actually circulated hard — used for small transactions, handled constantly, and rarely saved. Survival in any presentable condition is genuinely uncommon.
