| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field bears four large Chinese ideograms arranged vertically in two columns, reading right to left and top to bottom, denoting the denomination '當制錢二十文' (worth 20 cash). Manchu script characters appear prominently above, flanking the central inscription. A surrounding circular border legend in Chinese carries additional inscriptions identifying the issuer and the coin as Great Qing copper currency. The overall design is rendered in relief against a plain field, characteristic of Tientsin Central Mint milled coinage of the late Qing period. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central design features a sinuous five-clawed imperial dragon in profile, oriented to the left, clutching a flaming pearl at centre. The dragon is depicted in high relief with detailed scale work and cloud scrolls surrounding it. A circular Chinese legend above reads '宣統年造' (Made in the reign of Xuantong). The outer border below carries the English inscription 'TAI-CHING-TI-KUO COPPER COIN' in Latin characters, identifying the issuing empire. The reverse composition is consistent with standard late Qing machine-struck copper coinage produced at the Tientsin Central Mint. |
