| Reverse description | Cast brass reverse featuring four elements arranged around the central square perforation. Two Chinese characters 二十 (Er Shi, meaning 'twenty') are positioned vertically at the bottom, denoting the denomination of 20 cash. Flanking the square hole to the left and right are two Manchu script characters reading 'Boo-fu' (ᠪᠣᠣ ᡶᡠ), identifying the Fuzhou Mint. All characters are rendered in high relief in regular and Manchu script respectively, within a flat field bounded by plain raised rims on the inner square and outer circular edges. |
