Obverse description Two crossed flags of the Republic of China, each bearing a twelve-pointed sun emblem, are displayed prominently at center, their staffs bound together with tasseled cords. The field surrounding the flags carries the date and issuing authority in Chinese characters arranged along the upper and lower periphery. The legend reads across the top arc and along the sides in Chinese script denoting the year and republic designation, with the provincial mint attribution appearing at the bottom. A beaded inner border frames the central design, and a milled outer border encircles the entire composition.
