| Obverse description | Central field features four Chinese ideograms arranged in a cruciform reading pattern (top to bottom, right to left), surrounding a decorative floral motif at centre. Manchu script characters appear flanking the central group on either side, identifying the mint. A circular legend of Chinese ideograms runs along the periphery, recording the issuing province, reign title, and denomination. The design is characteristic of late Qing provincial cash coinage produced under the Guangxu Emperor. As a mule coin, both obverse and reverse share this identical die type. |
