| 备注 |
Bolivia's chronic hyperinflation of the mid-1980s — which peaked at over 20,000% annually in 1985 — forced a complete currency redenomination in 1987, replacing the peso boliviano at a rate of one million to one. This 20 Bolivianos note belongs to that replacement issue, the new boliviano being a deliberate psychological reset as much as a monetary one.
The dual-printer arrangement — Spain's Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre and France's Oberthur handling different series within the A-C run — is worth noting when distinguishing printings, as paper and ink characteristics can differ subtly between them.
