At right, an intaglio portrait of Pantaleón Dalence occupies the dominant vignette, his name inscribed below. The central field carries the denomination legend VEINTE BOLIVIANOS in large letterpress type, flanked by the Bolivian coat of arms at lower centre and two signature facsimiles above it.
