Opmerkingen

Venezuela's P#64 20 Bolívares was printed by Bundesdruckerei in West Berlin during a period when the bolívar was under severe pressure — the 1983 "Viernes Negro" devaluation had shattered the fixed exchange rate that had held since 1964, and the government was managing an increasingly unstable monetary situation throughout the mid-1980s. The choice of Bundesdruckerei reflected long-standing Latin American reliance on European security printers rather than any domestic capability.

The Bundesdruckerei contract for this series ran across multiple denominations and date ranges, making individual print-run quantities difficult to isolate by year.
