| Descrição do anverso | The Panamanian national coat of arms occupies the central field, rendered in selective gold plating against a mirrored proof background. The shield is surmounted by a harpy eagle with wings displayed, and flanked by nine stars arranged in an arc above, with two further stars at either side of the shield. The shield itself is quartered, depicting the isthmus with two sailing ships, crossed sword and rifle, a cornucopia, and a winged wheel. The legend REPÚBLICA DE PANAMÁ arcs along the upper border, while VEINTE BALBOAS is inscribed along the lower border, both in raised Latin lettering against a dark annular band. |

The Church of San Atanasio in the district of Santa Ana, Panama City, is one of the oldest surviving ecclesiastical structures in the Americas, with roots tracing to the early colonial period. Panama's commemorative silver program has consistently drawn on architectural heritage underrepresented in international numismatics, and this issue fits squarely within that pattern.
