备注	Series 17 marks the transition from Rama IX to Rama X following the death of Bhumibol Adulyadej in October 2016 — the first change of monarch depicted on Thai banknotes in seven decades. The 20 baht denomination has been printed domestically by the Bank of Thailand Note Printing Works since the facility opened, and this issue continues that unbroken run. Thailand is one of relatively few countries where the central bank operates its own intaglio-capable security printing facility entirely within its borders. The EURion constellation inclusion reflects Thailand's alignment with international anti-counterfeiting standards adopted widely after 2002.
