| Obverse description | Uniformed bust of King Rama IV (King Mongkut) facing left, depicted in elaborate royal military dress adorned with decorations, medals, and a high collar, rendered in fine relief. The effigy occupies the central field with strong sculptural detail in the facial features and regalia.
