Obverse description Dominant light green tones carry a central-right intaglio portrait of King Rama IX (Bhumibol Adulyadej) in the full dress uniform of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, facing forward. The royal cypher of King Rama IX appears to the left of the portrait, flanked by intricate guilloche underprint work across the face. Denomination numerals in Thai and Arabic script appear at lower right.
