| Obverse description | Facing bust of Queen Grandmother Somdet Phra Sri Savarindira Borommarajadevi, depicted in formal court attire with an elaborate necklace and decorations, her hair styled in the fashion of the late 19th century. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail on the costume and regalia. A curved Thai-script legend arcs along the left and right periphery of the field, identifying the subject by her full royal title. |
