At the upper center, a crescent moon and cross device flanked by stylized swastika-like traditional Abkhaz ornaments. The central field bears a full-length color portrait of an Abkhaz nobleman rendered in vivid polychrome enamel, depicted standing in a long golden Circassian coat (chokha), wearing a red hood, with a bandolier of cartridges across his chest, a rifle held in his right hand, and a quiver visible at his back.
