| Beschrijving voorzijde | Head of Apollo facing right, laureate, rendered in archaic Greek style with stylized hair indicated by engraved lines. The portrait occupies the majority of the flan, with the face exhibiting the characteristic broad, flat features typical of 4th-century BCE Kean coinage. The surface shows an olive-green patina consistent with ancient bronze. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Karthaia occupied the southeastern tip of Keos, one of the four independent city-states on that island, each of which maintained its own coinage despite their proximity and shared Cycladic culture. The city's bronze issues from this period are sparsely documented, and SNG Copenhagen 630 remains one of the primary reference points for attribution — a sign of how thinly this series is represented in major collections.
