Obverse description Bust of Athena facing right, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head, the bowl decorated with a coiled serpent. The goddess's facial features are rendered in the Hellenistic style, with finely articulated hair visible beneath the helmet rim. The flan is irregular and slightly rough, characteristic of provincial bronze coinage of the period.
