| Beschrijving voorzijde | The upper portion of the obverse features the printer's mark from the title page of Apáczai Csere János's landmark work 'Magyar Encyclopædia', depicting a large tree with spreading branches and a standing allegorical female figure holding a spear, accompanied by a ribbon scroll bearing the Latin motto 'ET FLORE ET FRUCTU'. The country name MAGYARORSZÁG arcs along the upper rim, with the date 2025 and mint mark BP. to the left field and the denomination 20000 FORINT to the right field. The lower half of the coin displays a faithful reproduction of the original title page text in period typeface, reading MAGYAR ENCYCLOPÆDIA, followed by the full subtitle and the author's name APÁCZAI TSERE JANOS által. The design is executed in high relief proof finish with a mirror field contrasting against the frosted devices. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The upper field of the reverse displays a rectangular portrait medallion of Apáczai Csere János in three-quarter facing bust, rendered in a linear engraving style reminiscent of a period woodcut or book illustration. Below the portrait, the subject's name APÁCZAI CSERE JÁNOS is inscribed in large capital letters across three lines, accompanied by a prominent ornamental illuminated initial 'A' in the centre field. Surrounding the decorative initial, a descriptive legend in Hungarian identifies him as the pioneer of Hungarian education and vernacular scientific dissemination and as the first Hungarian encyclopaedist. His life dates 1625–1659 appear in the lower field. |
