| Zusätzliche Informationen |
Aggtelek National Park, established in 1976, protects the Hungarian portion of the Aggtelek Karst — a cave system shared across the Slovak border that UNESCO added to its World Heritage List in 1995. The Baradla Cave within the park stretches over 25 kilometers, making it one of the longest stalactite caves in Europe accessible without technical equipment. Hungary's commemorative silver program has issued national park coins sporadically since the 1990s, with Aggtelek appearing as a subject for the first time in this 2025 issue.
