| Obverse description | The obverse depicts a detailed architectural view of the headquarters of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, rendered in low relief against an open field. The neo-Renaissance palace, designed by German architect Friedrich August Stüler and completed in 1865, occupies the central composition, with the iconic Chain Bridge visible in the foreground, situating the building within its Budapest urban landscape. The sculptor's master mark of Gábor Veres appears to the right of the building facade. The legend MAGYARORSZÁG arcs across the upper field, while the denomination 20000 FORINT, the mint mark BP., and the mint date 2025 are inscribed in the lower portion of the obverse. |
