The Republic of Serbian Krajina was an unrecognized breakaway state in Croatian territory, and its currency existed in a kind of monetary limbo — denominations inflated at a pace that made the notes obsolete almost immediately after printing. Twenty million dinara sounds extraordinary but was, by late 1993, a routine transaction value. ZIN in Belgrade printed the series, which tells you something about where the RSK's real institutional support lay.

The Krajina dinar collapsed entirely when Croatian forces retook the territory in August 1995.
