| Obverse description | Blue-grey tinted notgeld on plain paper, with a central vignette of a stylised pair of spread wings framing an oval cartouche bearing the numeral '20 000 000 000' in letterpress. The issuer's title 'Reichsbahndirektion Stuttgart' is set in Gothic script across the top, below which the word 'Gutschein' appears in bold blackletter; the denomination in words 'Zwanzig Milliarden Mark' is printed in large decorative blackletter across the lower centre.
