| Obverse description | Cream-toned Notgeld voucher (Gutschein) printed in black letterpress with a salmon-red underprint carrying a large numeral '20' and the word 'Zwanzig' in pale ghost lettering across the centre. The heading 'Gutschein.' appears at top centre in bold Fraktur script, flanked by a dotted-rule border; series designation 'Serie D' and approval line 'Genehmigt vom Reichsfinanzministerium' are set at upper left and centre respectively, with a handwritten serial number at upper right. The denomination 'Zwanzig Milliarden Mark' is rendered in large blackletter display type, below which a two-line redemption text in Fraktur states that the municipal treasury of Brunndöbra will pay against return of the note within the announced period; the issuing authority 'Der Gemeinderat' and a handwritten signature above the printed title 'Gemeinde-Vorstand' appear at lower right, accompanied by a circular municipal stamp, the place and date 'Brunndöbra, den 27.
