Aanvullende informatie

Part of the Nordic Gold collector series NBP launched in the mid-1990s, this issue commemorates the episcopal castle at Lidzbark Warmiński — the former residence of the Prince-Bishops of Warmia and one of the best-preserved Gothic castle complexes in Poland. Nicolaus Copernicus spent several years there in the early sixteenth century, working in the service of his uncle Bishop Łukasz Watzenrode.
