正面描述 Centered in the field, the Polish State Eagle displayed with wings spread, crowned, and facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed feathering. The eagle clutches a ribbon or chain in its talons, consistent with the traditional Polish heraldic style of the interwar period. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs around the upper and lateral periphery in bold Latin capitals. The date 1924 is inscribed in the lower field, divided by the eagle's tail. The design is contained within a plain inner border.

背面描述 A left-facing bust of a young peasant woman dominates the central field, depicted wearing a traditional wide-brimmed hat with her hair arranged in a plait falling behind her shoulder. To the left of the effigy, three stalks of wheat rise prominently, symbolizing agricultural Poland, while additional grain ears are visible behind the figure. The denomination 2 ZŁOTE is inscribed in bold Latin capitals across the upper field, flanking the brim of the hat. The overall composition is rendered in a naturalistic, Art Deco-influenced style characteristic of Polish coinage of the 1920s. No additional border legend or mint mark is present on this trial strike.

附加信息

Poland's 1924 coinage reform was the decisive act that killed the hyperinflated marka and introduced the złoty, pegged to the Swiss franc under the Grabski stabilization plan. Trial strikes in brass for this denomination were part of the extensive pre-production testing conducted as the newly reconstituted Polish mint evaluated alloy compositions before settling on nickel. Few reached private hands.
