Aanvullende informatie

The Nordic Gold alloy — copper, aluminum, zinc, and tin — was adopted by Poland for its collector-circulation series specifically because it resists discoloration and holds die detail well without the cost of precious metal. The Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship issue belongs to the long-running provincial series that NBP launched following Poland's 1999 administrative reorganization from 49 provinces into 16 voivodeships, making the restructuring itself the direct reason this coin exists.

Świętokrzyskie — named for the Holy Cross Mountains — is one of Poland's smallest and least populous voivodeships, which gives this particular issue somewhat less collector traction than the series entries tied to major urban centers.
