Obverse description The Polish state eagle displayed in the upper central field, rendered in the modern heraldic style adopted for the Third Polish Republic, with wings spread and head turned to the right. Below the eagle, occupying the lower portion of the field, is a stylized representation of a crenellated medieval city wall with a rounded gateway arch, alluding to the historic fortifications of Stargard Szczeciński. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper rim, flanked by the date 2007 to the right, while the denomination 2 ZŁ appears to the right of the eagle. The mint mark MW is incorporated within the legend.
