Obverse description The Polish state eagle — a crowned white eagle with wings spread and talons extended — occupies the central field, rendered in fine relief against a plain background. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper rim in Latin characters. The date 2007 is divided by the eagle's body in the lower central field, flanked by dot ornaments, with the denomination '2' displayed prominently below in large numerals, and the currency abbreviation 'ZŁ' appearing on either side. The mint mark of the Warsaw Mint (MW) is incorporated discreetly within the design. The overall design follows the standard obverse type common to Polish Nordic gold commemorative 2-złote coins of this series.
