Reverse description A fully armoured heavy knight of the 15th century is depicted in vigorous profile, mounted on a charging destrier moving to the left. The knight wears a full plate armour suit including a visored great helm, and carries a lance couched under his arm extending to the left, with a sword suspended at his side. The horse is shown in dynamic motion with its head raised and legs extended. A ribbon-style scroll along the lower arc of the coin bears the inscribed legend identifying the subject. The composition conveys the martial power and chivalric culture of medieval Polish knighthood.
