| Obverse description | The crowned Polish eagle — the national emblem of the Republic of Poland — is depicted in the upper central field, rendered in fine relief with outspread wings and head turned to the right. Below the eagle, in the lower field, a stylised representation of a fortified stone gateway or castle wall with a vaulted arch is incised, referencing medieval architecture.
