| 背面描述 | The reverse commemorates the centenary of the Warsaw football club Polonia Warszawa, founded in 1911. To the left, a dynamic figure of a footballer in period attire is depicted mid-stride, rendered in detailed relief against a plain field. To the right, a stylised image of a football stadium facade is shown in the lower portion of the field, with a football superimposed upon it. Above the stadium, the circular club emblem of KS Polonia — featuring the letters K, S, and P within a divided roundel — is prominently displayed, accompanied by the inscription POLONIA in the field to its left. The curved legend POLONIA WARSZAWA arcs along the upper periphery, while the commemorative date range 1911–2011 is inscribed in the lower field. |

The "Polonia Warszawa" 2 Złote commemorates the Polish football club founded in 1911, issuing this coin on the centenary of that founding. Polonia Warszawa is one of the oldest clubs in Poland, though it has spent much of its modern history outside the top flight — a fact that makes a national bank commemorative feel slightly incongruous. The Nordic gold format, an aluminum-bronze alloy used across Poland's long-running municipal and cultural commemorative series, had by 2011 produced well over 500 distinct circulating collector pieces.
