| 背面描述 | The reverse features a left-facing bust of Polonia, an allegorical female personification of Poland, modelled by sculptor Antoni Madeyski. She is depicted wearing a traditional veil and a wreath of grain and foliage, rendered in a refined Art Deco style with softly modelled facial features. Stalks of rye and decorative foliate sprays radiate behind the figure, filling the field with elegant detail. The designer's signature appears in small lettering at the lower left of the bust. The field is otherwise unlettered, with no reverse legend. |

Bank Polski commissioned trial strikes in silver for this 1933 type before settling on the cupro-nickel alloy used for circulation. The Polish monetary authority routinely produced such pièces d'essai in precious metal for internal approval and archival purposes, meaning surviving silver examples were never intended to leave the bank's hands. KM P#27 designates it a pattern proper, not a circulation trial with distribution.
