Obverse description At center, the crowned white eagle — the Polish national emblem — displayed with wings spread and talons extended, rendered in high relief. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs around the upper periphery. The date 2006 appears in two parts flanking the lower body of the eagle, with the mint mark MW positioned between. Below the eagle, the denomination numeral 2 is shown prominently in the lower field, flanked by the currency abbreviations ZŁ on either side.
