Obverse description At center, the crowned Polish eagle — emblem of the Republic of Poland — is depicted in high relief, superimposed over a stylized relief map of Poland occupying the majority of the field. The circumferential legend 'RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA' arcs along the upper rim, with the date '2004' positioned to the right. The denomination 'zł 2 zł' appears in the lower field beneath the eagle and map motif. The mint mark 'MW' of the Mint of Poland is incorporated into the design.
