Below the eagle, a stylized representation of the Porta Montana (the medieval stone gate of Kołobrzeg) is depicted in low relief, showing its arched entrance and ashlar masonry. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery, flanked by the date 2005 at the right and the mint mark MW below the eagle.
