| Obverse description | The obverse displays the Polish state emblem — a crowned white eagle with wings spread and talons displayed — centrally positioned in the field. The circumferential legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper rim in raised Latin lettering. The date 2011 is divided on either side of the lower field, flanking the eagle, and is accompanied by decorative dot ornaments. The denomination 2 ZŁ appears in large numerals at the base of the design, with the currency abbreviation ZŁ to the right. The overall design follows the standard obverse type common to the Polish Nordic gold commemorative series. |
