Obverse description The Polish state emblem occupies the central field: a crowned White Eagle displayed with wings spread, rendered in high relief. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery, while the date 2014, split on either side of the eagle's tail, appears in the lower field flanked by the mint mark MW. The denomination ZŁ 2 ZŁ is inscribed at the bottom, framed by decorative dot-and-dash border elements. The design follows the standard obverse type common to all Polish Nordic gold commemorative 2-złote coins of the Fourth Złoty series.
