This is a private restrike, not an official state emission — a distinction that matters considerably for attribution. The Black Madonna of Częstochowa has been venerated at Jasna Góra monastery since at least the 14th century, and the image has carried intense political weight in Poland through every partition, occupation, and uprising. The interwar period saw a surge of patriotic numismatic pieces, some official, many not, exploiting exactly that symbolism.
No central bank authorization underlies this piece. The 9.82g weight doesn't align cleanly with any standard Polish mint specification from 1928, which is itself diagnostic.
