| Obverse description | Central depiction of the Black Madonna of Częstochowa (Our Lady of Częstochowa), shown as a frontal bust wearing an elaborate crown and halo, holding the Christ Child on her left arm; the Infant is likewise crowned and bears a halo. The composition closely follows the celebrated icon of Jasna Góra. The legend KRÓLOWA KORONY POLSKIEJ (Queen of the Polish Crown) curves along the upper periphery within a beaded border, and the date 1928 appears in the lower exergue. |
