Obverse description Central depiction of the Black Madonna of Częstochowa (Our Lady of Częstochowa), shown as a frontal bust wearing an elaborate crown and halo, holding the Christ Child on her left arm; the Infant is likewise crowned and bears a halo. The composition closely follows the celebrated icon of Jasna Góra. The legend KRÓLOWA KORONY POLSKIEJ (Queen of the Polish Crown) curves along the upper periphery within a beaded border, and the date 1928 appears in the lower exergue.

Reverse description A crowned Polish eagle displayed with wings spread, rendered in high relief in the tradition of the Second Polish Republic coinage. The eagle faces right, its talons extended, with detailed feather engraving across the breast and wings. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA (Republic of Poland) arcs along the upper periphery within a beaded border. The denomination 2 ZŁOTE appears in the lower field beneath the eagle.
