Reverse description Three emaciated concentration camp prisoners rendered in high relief occupy the upper central field, their gaunt faces and frail figures conveying profound suffering. Above them, the numeral '65.' denotes the 65th anniversary of liberation. Across the lower portion of the field, a stylised ribbon bears the infamous camp gate inscription 'ARBEIT MACHT FREI' in bold incuse lettering. Below the ribbon, the camp designation 'KL AUSCHWITZ-BIRKENAU' is inscribed in two lines. The legend 'ROCZNICA OSWOBODZENIA' (Anniversary of Liberation) curves along the upper left periphery of the coin.
