| Obverse description | The Polish state eagle displayed at centre, rendered in high relief with crowned head facing right, wings spread, and talons clasping a decorative foliate element — the traditional emblem of the Republic of Poland. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper rim, while the date 2013 is divided on either side of the eagle's body at mid-field. The denomination, expressed as ZŁ 2 ZŁ, appears in the lower field beneath the eagle. Small decorative dot separators punctuate the legend.
